DESCRIPTION:The Adler Planetarium is open late on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm–10:00 pm (last admission 9:00 pm). \nEvery Wednesday is free Museum Entry for Illinois residents with proof of residency! To show proof of residency\, you can use a valid Illinois driver’s license or photo ID\, Illinois student ID with photo\, or a photo ID plus a document (utility bill\, lease\, etc.) that shows your name and Illinois address. \nAll tickets must be bought online\, in advance of your visit. All sales are final. Book your tickets for Adler at Night if you’re an Illinois resident or non-Illinois resident. \n

DESCRIPTION:*Registration for this performance opens on September 1\, 2024; the link will be added here* \nAiming to reconnect generations and raise spirits in the community\, Larry Taylor and the Soul Blues Healers bring back the fine\, world-known Black music that today’s West Side seniors grew up with—from the hard-core Mississippi moans of Howlin’ Wolf and sophisticated blues of Little Milton\, to the soulful melodies of Johnnie Taylor and Tyrone Davis and the funk of James Brown. “Our music brings all people and all ages together\,” Larry says. “It’s a party!”  \nTickets: Free with registration. Space is limited; if you register and are no longer able to make it\, please let us know so we can open up the ticket to someone else. \nAccommodations: If you’d like to request accommodations\, please email Bendi at bqian@garfieldpark.org.
