Family Day at the Museum of Contemporary Art

Family Days at the MCA are free for families and contain special workshops and activities designed for kids.

Today’s theme is:

“This month, artist Regina Agu, one of Newcity Art Magazine‘s 50 Chicago Artists of 2023, leads an arts activity for families. In addition, KIDO Chicago is back with a full family takeover across the museum featuring music, art-making, and storytelling.

Designed and led by Chicago artists, Family Day is a monthly program that allows families and youth to connect and engage with contemporary art through activities and performances for all ages. Enjoy FREE admission while taking part in workshops, open studio sessions, gallery tours, performances, and more.

Activities are facilitated in English and Spanish with ASL interpretation provided.
