Family Day at the Museum of Contemporary Art

Family Days at the MCA are free for families and contain special workshops and activities designed for kids.

Today’s theme is:

“This month’s Family Day features a Libreria Donceles pop-up with artist Pablo Helguera leading Spanish and English readings to promote bilingual learning. Additionally, Poems While You Wait writes poems specifically for you, and performers Freedom From and Freedom To organize interactive and improvised movement activities.

Designed and led by Chicago artists, Family Day is a monthly program that allows families and youth to connect and engage with contemporary art through activities and performances for all ages. Enjoy FREE admission while taking part in workshops, open studio sessions, gallery tours, performances, and more.

Activities are facilitated in English and Spanish with ASL interpretation provided.
